Runners are incredible people!
They set clear outcomes, (race entry), set weekly training targets, pushing on in all weathers, at all times of day, knowing it’s not going to be easy, physically and mentally and this is even before they toe the race line which then brings up its own personal challenges when the internal coach starts turning against them!
Why do runners do it?? Because they know it’s going to be difficult! It’s a personal journey………like life!! When the race is done, the sense of achievement is incredible. The blood, sweat and tears are all worth it.
