College Membership - What it Means to be a Member of UKCPD

College Membership is a public mark that shows your commitment to your personal and professional development. Membership brings many benifits and is evolving all the time. 

Membership of the UK College of Personal Development is awarded to all qualifying students. 

We currently offer three levels of Membership.

  1. Associate Member is awarded to students that successfully complete any of our Certified CPD courses.  
  2. Professional Member is awarded to students that complete a Level 2 or higher qualification, both professional and academic qualifications are included. 
  3. Accredited Professional Member – A new award that we will be launching in the near future for professional practitioners in Coaching & NLP looking to accelerate their career.  

Being a Member of the UK College of Personal Development tells others that you are serious about your personal and professional growth. 

Digital Credentials & Professional Post Nominal Credentials

Digital Credentials are sharable digital assets that are stored on the Blockchain. Once issued, they cannot be tampered with or changed in any way. This means that Digital Badge Credentials are an excellent way of demonstrating the credibility of qualifications, CPD and other professional development achievements. 

Post-nominals are designations placed after an individual’s name to recognise their professional achievements. They include:

  • AM-UKCPD – – Associate Member
  • PM-UKCPD – – Professional Member 
  • APM-UKCPD – – Accredited Professional Member 

These designations are more than just letters – they’re a lasting symbol of personal success, developing expertise, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth. 

Membership Benefits

This is the way the general public, employers and corporate organisations can recognise a Member’s professional status. It demonstrates to those purchasing Coaching or NLP Services etc. that you have a strong commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards.

It confirms that you are actively involved in the continuous professional development of your knowledge, skills and understanding.  All Members receive a Certificate of Membership, Membership Logo and a Digital Credential Badge which can be shared to social media, LinkedIn etc.

UKCPD Membership is a both a benefit and a privilege, it is awarded to all in good professional standing – It can be retracted by the Directors at any time if you bring the College into disrepute, or you are deemed to be incompatible with the values and aims of the founders.

The College has an ongoing programme of both personal and professional support options.  From CPD workshops and events, to the Be Inspired Group, there are lots of opportunities to continue to develop your skills, knowledge and personal growth.Â
